Our Story

Aimée Made Designs is an Irish owned, female led, home decor small business now based in Berlin, Germany. What I guarantee to you is individuality and a deep understanding of care and creativity of epoxy resin and flower preservation. All of my work is handmade and ranges from jewellery and accessories to coasters, trays, bowls, vases and numerous other home decor items. 

My name is Aimée Mc Daid and I am the face behind this business, Aimée Made Designs. Everything you see on this website has been handcrafted by me and me alone, with the creative journey beginning in November of 2020. In this section, I’d like you to get to know me better, an understanding of the business and what has led me to where I am today.

My passion was born from a young age with my love for the arts. Born and raised in Donegal, Ireland, my love and desire to create culminated with my decision to study music full-time in college in 2014, specialising in vocals. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Modern Music in 2018, while performing music all across the island of Ireland. I love to perform and still do to this day. 

While studying, my creative avenues expanded to include design work, working as a full-time visual merchandiser. I developed a keen eye for colour, arrangements, style and design as I was tasked with developing an ever changing retail environment. In 2020, when both my creative streams were halted due to the pandemic, I found a new way to expand my creativity and Aimée Made Designs was born. 

As of July 2022, Aimée Made Designs has relocated to Berlin, Germany. This move has been something I have wanted for years and I am delighted that I have established myself in a new country and I am selling at numerous markets around Berlin.

I love being creative and I am so thankful to have this business to have an artistic outlet in my day to day life. My dedication and commitment to every piece being individual has led the business to grow to over forty-five items available in the first year alone, and I plan to take the business even further in the coming years.
